Organization of American States Youth Conference 2012

The 2012 OAS Youth Conference is set to take place as a live, running conversation with rising young leaders in the Americas and around the world on December 4, 2012. Participants in the Online Forum can contribute to the discussions by voting their views and opinions on the issues at hand, before and during the live-streaming of the event: https://poutsch.com/tag/youth_in_action.

Leading universities from around the United States, Latin and South America have been invited to participate in this virtual conference. Students from the selected institutions have the opportunity to be nominated as an Honorary Global Youth Advocate and be featured on the website of the International Youth Council | USA, in recognition of their leadership and campus influence. In order to be nominated, students must post a youth-related question on the Youth In Action page and collect 100 responses by December 10at 9:00PM (ET). Those who reach or exceed 100 responses within the appropriate time frame will be contacted via email to confirm their nomination.

Currently, we are working with the U.S. Department of State and leading universities from across of the Americas, to reach out to students in the most inclusive way possible.
